Optometrist

Titan Placement Group invites you to explore an exciting opportunity for an Optometrist in Panama City, FL. This is a chance to serve the community in a patient-focused environment while working in a supportive, collaborative healthcare setting along Florida’s stunning Emerald Coast.

Salary and Benefits

Salary: Up to $190,000 (based on experience)

457(b) plan: company matches 50% up to IRS maximum (must be on track to max out 403(b))

No nights or weekends
Clinic & Technology:
• Exam lanes/rooms: 2 rooms
• Daily volume: 25 patients per day on average
• Retina imaging: OCT available
• EMR: eClinicalWorks (eCW)
• E-prescribing: everything is electronic; no paper scripts
• Sinks in exam rooms: none

Responsibilities

Schedule: Monday–Friday
Conduct comprehensive eye exams and refractions
Diagnose and manage ocular disease (glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy)
Prescribe corrective lenses and develop treatment plans
Educate patients on eye health and preventive care
Collaborate with the care team to ensure continuity and quality
Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to clinical guidelines

Requirements

Doctor of Optometry (OD) from an accredited program
Active Florida optometry license or eligibility to obtain one
Strong clinical skills in primary eye care and disease management
Excellent communication and patient-care skills
Comfortable working independently and within a team-based model
