Job Description

Salary: $115,600 - 156,400 per year Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a closely related field
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience or an equivalent blend of education and experience
• Experience with Vehicle Management Systems is preferred
• Familiarity with modeling and simulation techniques
• Proficiency in Matlab/Simulink/Stateflow
• Knowledge of software requirements formulation, design, hardware/software integration, and testing processes
• Understanding of VMS design activities, including hardware/software design, integration, and test procedure development
• Insight into air vehicle subsystems control architecture and flight control systems
• Experience using Microsoft Visio, Clearcase, C++, C#, Visual Studio, and Python
• An active Secret clearance is highly desirable

• Develop software requirements and architectural design for a Vehicle Management System (VMS)
• Utilize model-based system engineering techniques for crafting and verifying system requirements
• Translate requirements into mathematical models for formulation and testing
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to design solutions for various airplane subsystems, including actuation and signal processing
• Coordinate and integrate requirements across multiple engineering disciplines
• Conduct verification and validation of software against designed requirements in both simulated and physical test environments
• Perform analyses to support the certification process of the Vehicle Management System
