Job Description

St. Mark’s is seeking a motivated Summer Facilities Intern.  This internship provides a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in facilities management and contribute to the smooth operation of our school and church buildings during the summer months. The intern will work closely with the facilities team to assist with various maintenance, repair, and project-related tasks.

Work Schedule: 

  • Hours: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday
  • June 1, 2026, through July 31, 2026

Pay Range: 

  • $15 - $18 per hour

Duties :

  1. General cleaning
  2. Moving furniture
  3. Power washing
  4. Light yard work
  5. Replace and stock supplies
  6. Light painting, minor maintenance
  7. Assist in setting up and tearing down for summer programs and events
  8. Perform other duties as assigned by the Facilities Manager

Qualifications:

  1. Must have a high school diploma 

Physical Requirements:

  1. Normal physical mobility and coordination, which includes movement from place to place, such as climbing stairs and ladders
  2. Ability to reach and bend, push/pull, and lift and carry objects within a weight range from 3 pounds to 50 pounds. Ability to assist with handling objects over 50 pounds.
  3. Must be able to work outdoors
