Salary: $86,800 - 165,200 per year Requirements:

• Active and transferable TS/SCI with Polygraph U.S. government issued security clearance required before start date.
• U.S. citizenship is mandatory for security clearance eligibility.
• A degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) is typically required.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience is essential.
• Proficient in object-oriented software design and development using Java in a Linux environment.
• Familiarity with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit.
• Experience with scripting languages including Perl and Python.
• Background in Agile/DevOps methodologies is important.

• Design, develop, and sustain advanced software applications for Satellite Ground Systems.
• Collaborate closely with systems engineers, hardware designers, and fellow software engineers.
• Create and implement Java-based applications and software components for satellite operations.
• Define software requirements and specifications in conjunction with cross-functional teams.
• Modify and enhance existing code as needed.
• Ensure the softwares performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Participate in software design reviews, code audits, and system integration activities.
• Assist in meeting program and project milestones as directed by immediate supervisors.
• Adhere to established software processes, development, documentation, and operational management standards.
• Keep abreast of the latest trends in Java and satellite technology to encourage innovation.
