Job Description

Our client is seeking a strategic and entrepreneurial executive to lead and expand its multifamily property management platform .

This role is designed for a seasoned multifamily operations leader who understands property management from the ground up and has the leadership capability to scale a high-performing platform. This role will oversee operational performance across a growing multifamily portfolio while expanding the firm’s third-party management business and client partnerships .

Blending operational leadership with strategic growth , you will drive portfolio performance, build strong teams, deepen ownership relationships, and position the company as a premier multifamily management provider in the market.

Key Responsibilities

Multifamily Operations Leadership

  • Provide executive oversight of the multifamily property management portfolio, ensuring strong operational performance, resident satisfaction, and asset value growth.
  • Lead and develop regional and on-site property management teams, fostering a culture of accountability and operational excellence.
  • Partner with asset management and ownership groups to drive property performance, budgeting, revenue optimization, and capital planning.
  • Oversee property transitions, lease-ups, and stabilization of newly developed communities.
  • Evaluate and enhance operational processes, staffing models, and technology platforms to support portfolio growth and scalability.

Client Leadership

  • Serve as a senior relationship manager for ownership groups and key clients, delivering strategic insight and high-quality reporting.
  • Build and strengthen long-term client partnerships through consistent communication and performance delivery.

Platform Growth & Business Development

  • Expand the firm’s multifamily third-party management platform through new client relationships and industry engagement.
  • Identify opportunities to grow services within existing ownership partnerships.
  • Lead RFP responses, client presentations, and contract negotiations.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive multifamily property management experience, including leadership at the regional or executive level.
  • Proven success overseeing large multifamily portfolios and leading high-performing operations teams.
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to analyze operating statements, budgets, and capital plans.
  • Experience supporting lease-ups, new development, and portfolio growth initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to build client relationships and expand third-party management assignments.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Proficiency in Yardi and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, or related field required.
