Network Engineer / Network Professional

Overview:

We are seeking a well-rounded Network Professional to support a dynamic, customer-facing environment. This individual will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and optimizing network infrastructure that supports external clients and business operations. This position focuses on resolving customer network issues, ensuring reliability, and delivering a high-quality service experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide hands-on support for customer network environments, diagnosing and resolving connectivity and performance issues
  • Support and maintain routing and switching infrastructure across enterprise and client networks
  • Troubleshoot wireless networks, including access points, controllers, and connectivity issues
  • Configure and support firewalls, ensuring proper security policies and traffic flow
  • Respond to customer inquiries and technical issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Monitor network performance and proactively identify potential issues
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve complex network challenges
  • Document configurations, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions for ongoing support and knowledge sharing

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Strong experience with routing and switching (Cisco or similar technologies)
  • Hands-on experience with wireless networking , including access points and controllers
  • Experience configuring and supporting firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA, etc.)
  • Ability to troubleshoot network issues across LAN/WAN environments
  • Experience supporting external customer networks or client-facing environments
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant certifications (CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent)
  • Experience in a service provider or telecommunications environment
  • Exposure to network monitoring tools and ticketing systems
  • Understanding of network security best practices

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $60.00/hr.
