The Marketing Specialist is responsible for executing client marketing strategies alongside the Account Managers, Creative Leads, and Project Success Managers to provide effective marketing solutions and reporting. The Marketing Specialist will work on both long-term and initiative-based strategies to achieve immediate business and marketing objectives. This is a dynamic role that requires a proactive and curious approach to effectively manage multiple clients and projects.

The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of digital marketing principles and platforms, thrive in a high-energy, fast-paced environment, have exceptional organizational skills, and work collaboratively to achieve our clients' goals.

FIVE19 is based in Richmond, VA and candidates must be willing to work on-site in our office located in The Fan. Free private lot parking is available. 

Responsibilities

  • Lead all marketing initiatives for clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and agency partners to build, execute, manage, and optimize all digital and marketing automation solutions/programs/campaigns. 
  • Guide the recommendations behind marketing automation, as well as directly demonstrate the value and process of marketing automation campaigns to clients.
  • Partner with internal team to present goal-focused marketing recommendations that align with the client’s budget each fiscal year.
  • Work directly with clients to evaluate, recommend, and make projections for list purchases.
  • Perform deep-dive into client data to provide match-back analyses on the effectiveness of marketing and advertising tactics, and extract actionable insights/action that help drive business results.
  • Make recommendations and oversee campaign and email marketing list management.
  • Organize and report on analytics and marketing performance metrics for executive level presentations.
  • Manage client content processes, keyword research, and content strategy.
  • Develop the Customer Journey to include retargeting, nurture and lead scoring.
  • Assist in any other periodic marketing projects and tasks as assigned, including but not limited to lead capturing, scoring, managing/organizing/disseminating marketing collateral, etc.
  • Keep abreast of marketing/advertising landscape, trends, techniques, or technologies that are relevant to our client base.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in digital marketing (Agency or Senior Living experience is preferred)
  • Strong understanding of CRM platforms, Marketing Automation, SEO, and Social Media 
  • Experience with pulling data and insights out of data management platforms
  • Adaptable to ever-changing marketplace trends and able to bring innovative marketing insights to the team
  • Expert in Microsoft Excel with strong analytical skills
  • Ability to independently manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Creative problem-solver who takes initiative and makes sound, timely decisions
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Occasional overnight travel
