We are looking for team members who have great conversational skills and are teamwork-oriented with a positive outlook and personality. The Cocktail Waitress position at Marriott El Paso involves providing excellent service to guests in a bar setting. The role focuses on creating a welcoming atmosphere, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction through attentive service and knowledge of the menu.

• Set up bar (fill up ice bins, set up liquor bottles, bar garnishes, bar glassware, flatware).
• Restock beer bottles.
• Restock Bar mixers.
• Welcome guests and promptly attend to tables.
• Serve food and beverages to guests, making recommendations of our food items and wine selection.
• Share your menu knowledge with guests with questions and special requests.
• Record transactions in the MICROS system correctly and timely.
• Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each course and beverage.
• Clean tables, complete closing duties, and re-stock tableware and other supplies.
• Sweep/mop.
• Clean tables as needed.
• Clean the bar counter/sanitize the bar area on a daily basis.
• Polish glassware.
• fold napkins.
• Ensure food condiments in the kitchen are being set up.

Cocktail Waitress Requirements:

• Experience may be preferred, especially if serving beverages in a fine dining establishment.
• Ability to walk, stand, and carry heavy trays.
• A friendly, attentive attitude.
• Knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and food.
