Seeking candidates with a background and experience in service writing, service technician, mechanic, parts management, etc. that would like to get out of the shop / retail environment and play a vital role behind the scenes! Qualified candidates do not need to have Claims background but do need to have a heavy knowledge of the automotive parts and maintence World. Tech school experience would be a plus! salary: $19 - $24 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities

• Manage daily inbound calls , consistently meeting performance metrics for handle times and call volume.
• Process and adjudicate mechanical claims for vehicles in adherence to departmental procedures and company guidelines.

• Review and verify repair estimates against national labor and parts guides (including labor rates and time) to ensure compliance with approval guidelines.

• Investigate and analyze repair information to determine service contract coverage.

• Communicate effectively with customers, dealers, repair facilities, and vendors, providing clear and concise information retrieved from company systems via phone and email.

• Authorize appropriate claim amounts based on contract guidelines, utilizing mechanical knowledge and sound judgment.

• Document all claim-related interactions including research, verifications, and communications within the claim administration system.

• Maintain high customer service standards and productivity levels in all interactions.

• Collaborate proactively as a member of the claims team to ensure efficient operations.

• Participate in training seminars and continuing education to enhance job knowledge and skills.

• Assist management with specific issues or projects as requested.
