***** MUST HAVE Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday AVAILABILITY ****

Summary: 

We are excited to partner with an existing restaurant concept to transform our Taverna space into something new! This Asian cuisine is known in the Chicago culinary world and general populace alike. We are brining a new full service twist to the brand and hope to delight with our bar program. With our open doors and patio seating we are a vibrant part of our neighborhood. We are seeking to a part-time bartending to round out our amazing team! 

Our ideal candidate will have the following skills:

• Positive attitude
• Warm presence 
• Punctuality
• Great customer care and keen restaurant instincts
• Willingness to adhere to all steps of service and guidelines set forth by the company
• Bar knowledge including classic cocktail builds
• Comfort will craft bartending (versus batch) - all cocktails will be made to order 
• Baseline knowledge of classic cocktail recipes and a willingness to learn about new cuisines , regional   wines, beer, and spirits
• Ability to manage service tickets and patrons at once
• Ability to multi-task in general 
• Professional and polished presentation 

 

Job Duties:

- Great customer care and keen restaurant instincts
- Working Knowledge of steps of service
- General Familiarity of proper place settings
- Ability to commit to Taverna 1821 Training
- Assist with running of the shifts as needed 

General:
- Ability to lift 30lbs
- Ability to use stairs in a proficient manner
- Ability to bend

Job Schedule:

Afternoons and evenings 
Wednesday- Sunday hours of operation 
6.5 - 9 hour shifts depending on day and shift 
Can vary slightly due to weather and buyouts 
3-4 shifts a week to be expected
